Skip the movie-go to Shark Con!

Yet another scary shark movie is about to hit the theaters but we have got something better that will entertain with truth rather than fiction. This July we will be returning to Shark-Con for a weekend full of anything and everything shark. We look for forward showing up every year. Not only are we surrounded by shark lovers, the event does so much for educating the public on important shark issues.

Well over a hundred vendors join together for this great cause. Everything from touch tanks to conservation organization activities and STEM projects to name just a few. Shark activists that we have featured on our blog have attended in the past as well. These speakers are quite entertaining and are full of news about what is going on in the world of sharks.

There is plenty to entertain kids as well. Just for fun there is a shark ride, inflatable shark slide, ocean bounce house and mermaids! You can also peak their science minds through educational activities. There will be, touch tanks, a shark tooth sand dig, shark dissection, and at the Busch Gardens exhibit your kids can get their picture taken with replicas of sharks, hold fossils, ask questions of the staff and work on art projects that SeaWorld has provided.
